Yesterday was the day that my hubby and I first started dating 13 years ago! We really wanted to get married on a day close to the day that we first started dating, so we got married on the 11th. Today we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was such a beautiful day! My hubby was so sweet and had a dozen roses delivered to the house. We all went out to supper at our favorite local Mexican restaurant. Yummy!
We got some new craft kits to review and giveaway in the mail the other day. The kids had a blast with them yesterday! I’ll post pics and a full review within the next couple of days. We also received some other toys for the boys to review and that will be posted soon as well.
I am sad to say that our toad died the day after the boys got it. I told the boys that since we already have a toad, cat and dog in the house right now I would prefer they keep the new toad outside. They were surprisingly fine with this, however they put it in a small tool box outside and the temperature got pretty hot yesterday. Shortly before the boys got home from school (after I picked my 4 year old up from preschool) we went outside to find and check on the toad. They were so sad to see that the toad was no longer alive. However, the neighbor boy (who is 11 years old) was kind enough to give the boys the toad that he had caught the same day the boys caught theirs. How sweet is that? So the boys now have a new toad that looks just about the same, but is a little smaller. They are really excited and have it in a new home so it can breathe this time.
Well, being that it’s my anniversary I’m going to sit back and relax a bit with my family. Thanks for following me! More to come on Raising My 4 Sons. 🙂
