Whoa, it’s been 3 months already? How crazy is that!? Seriously, every diet I have ever tried has ended before 3 months. That’s right, I’m so into this diet that I have to go back and count the weeks and then I flip out when I find out how long I have been on this diet plan. I really never thought losing weight could be so easy.
So, here is my update…
I have continued to lose inches, however I have not seen much difference on the scale. I think my body has found a spot where it is comfortable and it’s going to take me pushing myself a bit to start losing some more pounds. I’m ok with that though because I know I need to step up my game. But check out my before and after photos. The scale may be moving slower now, but I can definitely see and feel a difference in my body!

Hi Mina,
I was very strict about what I ate. I followed the Shaklee diet, but the most important part is that I drank a lot of water, watched what went into my mouth at all times. Even if I just took one bite, I would write it down. I kept track of my calories on the app, LoseIt (I highly recommend this app!) I cut all soda and almost all sugar out of my diet. Changing little things in your life can make a huge difference. Eating healthy and drinking a lot of water is very important in losing weight.
You look great! How could you do that? What exercises did you do? Because this summer, I want lose weight.
You CAN do it Heidi! First, cut back to 1200 calorie diet (or whatever is suggested for your height and weight, typically it’s around 1200). Second, make sure you treat yourself every now and then–I don’t mean eat junk all the time, but maybe allow yourself a sliver of chocolate or a little coolwhip once in a while, otherwise you will deprive yourself and you won’t last near as long on the diet. Also, stay active and drink lots of water. I mostly did walking and some crunches. I liked going onto YouTube, finding a song I liked that was put into a workout (Like Call Me Maybe—that’s fun to work out to) and I had fun with it! Switch it up b/c the same thing over and over can get boring and make you want to quit. Squats were my #1 workout b/c I could do them while doing dishes, cooking supper or watching television. 🙂 Just be sure what you are taking in is healthy, that you are counting calories (aps like LoseIt make that easier) and that you are drinking LOTS of water—no pop! Good Luck! 🙂
Great job!!! I am trying to lose weight also and trying to slowly go off pop…. I did go off but went back to it. LOL
