When the 3Doodler Start ROBOSUMO pen set arrived my boys were super excited to give it a try! As a matter of fact, they didn’t want to wait for me to snap product pics before ripping the box open and getting crafty!
Some things I love about the 3Doodler:
- It’s great for fine motor skills
- This is a great arts/crafts project
- The Doodler really challenges and allows children to be creative
- It’s a toy, but also engaging and allows them to really use their brains
- It’s a great STEM project
- Kids love it!
My Boys Thoughts:
This has been a fun activity in our home for some time. We love the NEW ROBOSUMO set that we received, and our boys have been really enjoying the different robot characters that they can make. The set is easy enough for our youngest child (9 year old) to use, yet challenging enough for our 13 year old to want to work with. Our boys have spent quite a bit of time with their 3Doodler making different molds and playing with them.

We call it “secret STEM.” but given the success of shows like BattleBots®, it could also be seen as an introduction into robotics as sport.

A fun way to make your own individualized moving action figures. Think 3D printed Flat Stanley meets a 21st Century Mr. Potato Head®. “We wanted to infuse the 3Doodler experience with the delight of creative storytelling,” said 3Doodler CEO Daniel Cowen. “Whether a superhero, animal, alien, or even friends and family, ALPHADOODS offer a fun and engaging way to bring your Doodles to life.”
