40 Weeks 1 Day Doctor’s Appt….

I had my doctor’s appointment this morning. 

I am now 40 weeks and 1 day pregnant. 

My doctor did an ultrasound, which he does at every appointment now.
He said AGAIN that the baby appears to be getting very big, no surprise to us. 

He said he didn’t want to let me go a whole lot longer. 

I did show signs of Preeclampsia today when they checked my urine.

I have to go in tomorrow to have the baby monitored for about an hour. 

I have another chiropractor appointment after that. 

My doctor is once again going out of town. 

He leaves tomorrow and will be back sometime later in the day on Saturday. 

I asked if he would be willing to sweep/strip the membranes today because he mentioned that he was concerned about the baby getting really large as well as the Preeclampsia, if I do indeed have it. 

Since he is leaving town he is going to wait until Monday to do anything. 

I am still the same…No change….so frustrating.

However, he did say that the baby is in a real good position and seems to have dropped a bit more. 

I am scheduled for another doctor’s appointment on Monday and then if there is still no baby by next Tuesday he said he would like to try to break my water. 

I will keep you all posted as I can. 

Baby will be here by next week at the latest!!!!
