5 Month Weight Loss Update #Cinchspiration

Back in June I set out to lose 30 pounds by the end of this challenge. Now the challenge is 6 months, so many people thought I was crazy and that I was really pushing myself. Maybe, but I was willing to set my goal because that is where I really wanted to be. Now I have tried many diet plans in the past. I have lost a little weight here and a little there, but I have never stuck with them past a couple of months. Why do we so easily give up on ourselves?

I am proud to say that I have found a diet plan that works for me. It’s like it was meant for my body and was that little extra push that I needed. After having 5 children I honestly didn’t think there was hope of ever getting my pre-pregnancy body back.

And without further ado…

My 5 Month Stats!

  • Waist: 29.5 Inches
  • Hips: 33 Inches
  • Thighs: 20 Inches
  • Chest: 34 1/2 Inches
  • Weight: 138 Pounds
  • Arms: 10 3/4 Inches

Now I know if you are looking back on last month’s stats those numbers haven’t changed a whole lot, and that’s ok. I am SO close to my goal weight, and to be honest I am starting to feel very comfortable in my own skin. Don’t get me wrong, I have a little more toning to do, but I’m just about there!

Waist BEFORE: 39.5 Inches———Waist AFTER: 29.5 Inches

Hips BEFORE: 39 Inches———–Hips AFTER: 33 Inches

Thighs BEFORE: 23 Inches (each)—-Thighs AFTER: 20 Inches (each)

Chest BEFORE: 39 Inches———Chest AFTER: 34 1/2 Inches

Arms BEFORE: 12 Inches (each)——-Arms AFTER: 10 3/4 Inches (each)

Weight BEFORE: 165 Pounds——–Weight AFTER: 138 Pounds!!!!

Weight lost in the past 5 months….27 POUNDS!!!!!

Weight left to lose…3 POUNDS!!!

Please follow me as I set out to lose these last few pounds and maybe a couple more inches. We have just one month to go and I could really use a few extra cheerleaders! πŸ™‚

You look fantastic!! Congratulations!!! I’m starting this program (just the shakes and boost) and hope to have great success! You are very inspiring! One question …..honestly, how much time did you dedicate to exercise? I’m promising myself that I will make time for it, but I know it won’t be more than 30 min/day. Hopefully that will be sufficient. Anyhow, congrats again!!!!!

If I’m going to be honest I have to say that I didn’t work out near as much as some of the other ladies were talking about working out. I can not afford a gym membership or fancy workout equipment, so I stuck with squats, lunges and dancing. It wasn’t until I hit about my 4th month that I really started to work out, and I still didn’t do more than 30 minutes a day, and I didn’t work out every single day either. Now that I have lost the weight though I need to put forth more of an effort to work out a little more so that I can tone things a little more. You can do this! Feel free to email me anytime—I’m happy to be here for support on your weight loss journey! (raisingmy5sons@yahoo.com)

      Hi Danielle,
I did the “Cinch” Shaklee 180 diet for 6 months. I am actually still drinking the shakes and eating the meal bars, however not as often as I was during the course of the 6 month program I took part in. I mostly did squats, dancing around my house and lunges. I like to try to fit working out into my schedule by doing them while I’m cooking, drying my hair and so forth. I also try to make them fun by dancing and singing with my kids. I love adding to and making the shakes “my own” as well. Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m always here if you need any help or a weight loss partner. πŸ™‚

The more I read these the more I want to try this diet. I have weight stuck around my middle. I was never ‘skinny’ but I was one of those flat stomach folks even after having chidrem now it has crept around my middle.
