How was your Father’s Day?
We had a great Father’s Day! As I mentioned in my post yesterday my hubby and the 3 older boys got up super early and they all loaded up in the truck and went fishing with Grandpa (hubby’s dad.) This was great for me as well because the youngest slept in, so Mommy got to catch up on some sleep too! It was like Mother’s Day! he he!
Grandma even cooked breakfast for the boys when they arrived home, so I only had to feed myself and the little guy. Wow, that was different!
When they got home we relaxed for a while and played in the yard before heading back over to hubby’s parents for a bit so he could spend time with the whole family. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their cousins who were there too!
You would think our day was over by the time we got home, but there was still plenty of daylight left, so I hopped on the riding lawn mower and my hubby grabbed the weed eater and push mower and we worked on the yard while the boys played.
Our oldest was giving his younger brothers rides in the carrier on the back of his bike. (It used to be on the back of Daddy’s bike, but the silly boys decided to remove it one day and put it on our oldest son’s bike. They really are good at taking things apart!)
All in all it was a great day and the boys were tuckered and out in a matter of minutes when their little heads hit the pillow.
Since I promised you all an updated pic and haven’t posted one in a while here is a pic of me at 35 1/2 weeks. Can you believe in only a couple of days I will be 36 weeks!? Not much longer!!!
