Think about it, if you couldn’t swim, would you go into the deep end of a pool without a life vest?
I certainly wouldn’t.
So, why is it people are willing to drive without auto insurance? Are they risk takers, or simply just don’t understand the risk they are taking? I have personally seen many people have their license stripped from them as well as hefty fines simply because they chose to drive with no auto insurance. Is it worth the risk?
I have heard horror stories about how people have been in an accident, one that was just that, an accident, however the driver was at fault. While the driver may be a genuinely good person, if they are driving without auto insurance and are in an accident, they can lose everything in the blink of an eye. Is it worth it?
If you are driving without auto insurance, I urge you to go online or to your local insurance agency and start shopping for a policy that works for you. You don’t have to spend a ton, just be sure you have some sort of coverage, because you never know when you might need it. It doesn’t matter where you live, however if you live in a large area such as California, you can go online to compare auto insurance quotes in California. If you live in a smaller area you might do a similar search, or even ask friends and family who they recommend.
Are you a risk taker?
