School was closed again today. This is our second day this week. We did get quite a bit of snow all together, but I think the drifting is what is really making things rough. We have been having very high winds here. The boys played outside quite a bit yesterday with some of the neighbor boys. They had a lot of fun. They brought their friends in to play for a while so they could all warm up and everything seemed fine. The boys were preoccupied so I was able to get a little housework done. Isn’t it funny how you can actually get housework done when you have extra kids? Anyways, after the neighbors left we sat down for supper. My oldest became a little cranky and was crying a bit, which isn’t like him. I knew immediately what this meant…he was getting sick. No, not another one sick at our house! We have been sick off and on since Halloween! Last week I took the youngest to the doctor and he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection, ear infection, and sore throat. He has been doing much better…until this morning! We wake up this morning and the youngest has a slight fever, the oldest has a high fever, is lightheaded, has a sore throat, and a runny nose. I gave them both some Motrin and so far the fevers have stayed away. The other 2 boys have been complaining of minor belly aches, lightheadedness, and are coughing just a bit. I’m just hoping we don’t have another week of sickness ahead of us! We are doing all we can to stay warm, hydrated, and well rested. I’ll keep you up to date on that.
So, while all of the boys are laying down watching tv QUIETLY (did you like how I put that all in capital letters, because that really doesn’t happen much when you have a house full of Boys) anyways, while they are resting I decided to get online and look around for baby gear. Since a lot of our baby gear had been through so many children and we didn’t know if we were going to have any more children we got rid of most of it, so I have been online browsing. I will let you all know if I find any really great deals anywhere. I would also love to hear the great deals you all are finding on your baby/child gear. You never know, I might even have some great giveaways coming up soon too!
I have also been looking at baby clothing. I know that it is early, but I would like to find one boy outfit and one girl outfit to take with me to the hospital for the hospital pictures. I can’t help but start to look now. 🙂
Ok, one more thing I have on my mind is my blog name. I would really like to get everyone’s opinion on that. Right now, as you all know, we are raisingmy4sons.com. If we are to have another boy I think I will make it raisingmy5sons.com (That will be easy!) But if we have a girl what should I have the name be? I would like to keep it simple and easy to remember, and not too long either.
Any suggestions???
