As if we haven’t done enough remodeling, with our current home and the investment property, we are once again taking on another remodeling project. Not only do we plan to finish up all of the small things in our house that we started and just never seemed to get done, but we are taking on a bathroom remodel. Our main bathroom was at the top of my “to do” list from the time we bought this house (6 years ago) and I am happy to say is finally getting done!
My husband and I do have a few different ideas when it comes to the bathroom though. I want the bathroom to be really grand and fancy. I think small touches like bathroom chandeliers would be so pretty! My husband on the other hand, while he wants a nice light in the bathroom, doesn’t understand why I would want something so fancy in a bathroom.
I have to admit that I have a real obsession for lighting. I spent a lot of time finding the perfect lighting for each room in my home. It doesn’t matter if it’s the living room or the bathroom lighting fixtures, I feel they all need to make a statement. With that being said, I think maybe I’ll get back to shopping for that perfect chandelier/light for my bathroom, and I bet my husband agrees that it’s worth it once he sees how nice it looks hanging.

We’ve got bits and pieces in each room to “finish” still, lol, but we keep moving onto other projects. Right now it’s been the kitchen. But we still need to add caulking around our basement trim, refinish the ceilling in the family room, and caulk the dining room, lol. We’re down to the last little bits in the kitchen though, with the backsplash and trim. I’d love to move on to our bathroom next, but we’re headed outside for some yard remodeling first.
