My husband is on his way home from a week long business trip as we speak.
The first half of the week was fine, and the boys and I stayed pretty busy. The second half of the week has gone a little like this….
My 2 year old (he’s almost 3 and if you are a parent of a child over the age of 3 and are like me you probably question why they call them terrible twos because everyone knows that threes are WAY worse.) Anyway, my 2 year old (I often get off of track, probably because I’m used to being interrupted by a bunch of little story tellers-there I go again!) You probably already know what I was going to say, right? Our 2 year old has been throwing crazy fits. I have tried ignoring them, but he just gets louder. I don’t give in though. Most of the time I can distract him with something else and get him to stop, but it’s always trying to find the distraction that is going to work.
He may throw some crazy fits, but he sure does know how to make me laugh as well.
He comes walking into the living room yesterday (he does not have any pants on and his hair is soak and wet, but just in the front. Nothing is wet but his hair.) I look at him and our conversation goes a little like this…
Me: How did your hair get all wet?
He starts crying and says: I peed in my hair Mommy!
Me: You what? How did you pee in your hair?
He says: If you don’t tuck your weeny all of the way when you pee you might pee in your hair.
Am I the only one that finds humor in this?
I feel the need to educate everyone out there so no one pees in their hair!
He comes walking into the living room tonight in just his little Thomas the Train undies.
He looks up at me and starts laughing (really laughing hard).
I say, what’s so funny buddy?
He looks down and says, Look, my weeny is trying to see out the hole!
Why do they have to put those holes in little boy undies?
Everyone knows that boys are curious. C’mon, that is just asking for messes, right?
Wow, I just realized that I talk about the bathroom a lot on my blog!
If you have boys and they are still babies then you should know that this is what you have to look forward to. ๐
When I sat down to write this post I had a lot of stuff in my head that I planned to write, but the baby just fell asleep and now there is complete silence in my house. I think I’ll sit back with my feet up and relax.
You all enjoy your weekend! ๐
