beauty and the beet

We love the classic story tales, but putting a fun twist on them, especially when it includes a great christian message is always favorable in my eyes! In Beauty and the Beet Mirabelle and her band, the Veggie Tones, want badly to have their next gig at Vegetable Square Garden. As they are trying to make their way a huge storm hits and they become stranded in a run-down area. The manager is very grumpy and he even makes them sing, work and clean for their supper. Mr. Beet, the manager, is like the Beast in the original “Beauty and the Beast”. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’m going to let you watch the movie to find out more!

I do want to mention that when we first got the movie, because of the title, my boys thought it was going to be girly. It was cute to sit and watch their little faces throughout the movie. They clearly enjoyed it!

We have some really awesome news for you! Family Christian has discounted Beauty and the Beet and from December 15-24 you can get it for just $9.99!

How awesome is that!?

If you are looking for a great gift for a little loved one in your life we highly recommend you check out Beauty and the Beet. This movie is not only an older story tale remade, which makes it nice for parents, but it’s also a movie full of faith and there are lessons to be learned. I love when I can sit my little ones down in front of the television and I don’t have to worry!

We received a complimentary copy of Beauty and the Beet from Family Christian to facilitate this review. We only give honest reviews and all opinions expressed are our own.

I get such a kick out of the Veggie Tale’s titles with puns in them.

This looks like such a cute movie! I loved Veggie Tales when I was a kid and hope my son does too!
