Last year I worked at the private school our children were attending. The school was using electric pencil sharpeners, but we were always having problems with the sharpeners breaking. That’s not the only thing though, they were often distracting the class as they made noise while sharpening causing students to look up from their work.
The school decided to purchase new pencil sharpeners for the classrooms and they searched high and low for sharpeners made like the ones that were in classrooms years ago. You know, the high quality metal sharpeners with real metal insides? Yeah, those were NOT easy to find! We came across Classroom Friendly Supplies and fell in love! As a matter of fact, the school purchased one new sharpener for each classroom! The teachers and students were all impressed and everyone quickly fell in love with the new pencil sharpeners—they were the talk of the school for a bit!
So it may not come to a surprise to you that when we decided to start homeschooling this year we knew right away which pencil sharpener we would need in our home “class” room! The pencil sharpeners at Classroom Friendly Supplies are so quiet that I often don’t even know when someone is up sharpening their pencil (Ok, I know because I have boys and it’s often hard for them to move about quietly, but the sharpener is not the reason I know they are up! ha ha!)

Love these pencil sharpeners and would be so happy to give one a home in my classroom! Quick, quiet and great quality. I like the blue sharpener best, but any color would be a great addition for my kiddos.

Groovy Green because I am green with jealousy and MUST have one. Three of my colleagues purchased this sharpener last spring and it is BY FAR the best sharpener for a classroom!!!! Finally – a good, long-lasting sharpener!
