I love my boys dearly, but they sure do know how to make my heart stop sometimes!
Often times I am asked how I can be so quick. It’s like I just know when one of them is going to fall down or try to ride a skateboard down the slide (Yes, they have tried this!) Boys sometimes (often times) do some silly and crazy things, but I do love their curious little minds.
The other day our 3 year old was throwing a fit. He was mad and tried to storm off. Grandma and Grandpa were over visiting and when he turned around to storm off he ran RIGHT into the side of their truck! I kid you not, the boy bounced off of the bumper and hit the ground.
I guess he gave himself something to cry about.
He sure does know how to scare me.
Here is a photo of his head after running into the truck.
Now if you think that is bad, you must go read the post from the time he fell down the stairs.
Go ahead…I’ll wait…
Crazy, right!?
These boys are the reason I started to get gray hairs at the age of 30!
They’ll do that to ya, but I love them to death and wouldn’t trade it in the world
What have your children done to make your heart skip a beat?
More to Come on Raising My 5 Sons…

Poor little guy! My son is the same way he jumps off anything he can climb, he loves to wrestle and run a muck. He is my little dare devil. He scares me often but hes a tough guy too.
Happy Mother’s Day!

This makes me LOL just a little. I have four boys (and one lone spoiled girl) and the are JUST like that. And as you know, the madness doesn’t stop!!! My oldest is 11, and even he comes home with bruises or tales of accidents that happened at school….I don’t know if they have genetically inherited my inner klutz, or if it really is a boy thing…but there is a constant series of war wounds and battle scars, bumps and bruises! Our two year old has learned to climb up on top of his sister’s loft bed. WITHOUT THE LADDER! And this weekend, my 7 year old managed to pull down an entire 4 foot cabinet that was anchored to a stud in the wall. Would I trade the chaos in for 5 girls? Possibly with synced periods, high phone bills and teenage girl attitude? Not on your life. Even hospital bills for broken bones are cheaper than girls! LOL

Ha ha! I hear ya! Funny because one of my boys used to climb up the side of the bunk beds at a very young age too–that’s when we took them apart! lol Well, that and the fact that one climbed to the top and tried to swing from the ceiling fan…ahhhhh! I totally know where you are coming from on the boy/girl thing. My Mom had 3 girls and I know what we put her through and how much we cost her…I’m perfectly content with all boys and feel very blessed! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. If you lived close by we would totally have to do a playdate! (Our oldest is 11 too! How old are your others?)

omg. we totally caught him up there today, playing with the ceiling fan!!! I just about had a heart attack! I have an aunt that had four girls. From the outside looking in….not on your life!
My boys are 11, 7, 29 months and 8 1/2 months. My daughter is 9. She’s a pretty good girl though, very smart, so I’m hopeful that we will be okay with her. 🙂
