This morning the mechanic called to tell us that our vehicle was finished. We had a loaner vehicle (a minivan) and while it was ok, I was happy to have my SUV back. We rushed around this morning getting everyone ready and out the door in a reasonable amount of time.
Today was my Kindergartner’s day off, so I had 3 boys at home with me. Of course, they were excited to ride in the minivan again while we went to pick our SUV up. I picked my mother in law up and she rode with me and then drove the minivan back to the car dealership that had loaned it to us. I was so thankful to have her help today! We received a new item in the mail to review for you. (It is a product that the boys can use in the bathtub.) I’ll talk more about it within the next few days once we have fully reviewed it. There will be a FREE giveaway with the review as well, so be on the lookout!
When my hubby got home we did homework, ate supper and headed to my Mom’s house for a bit. She is having a yard sale and we had some items we wanted to take over. The boys are so funny because they wanted to sell some of their toys (which I have no problem with because at the moment they have WAY to many!) *If you are a company that wants someone to review toy organizers contact me! ha ha! Back to what I was saying…the boys were going through toys, but all of the toys they kept bringing me to get rid of were the baby’s! We did end up bringing quite a few baby toys to the sale, but they were toys he doesn’t really play with anymore anyways. They were also trying to buy stuff from Grandma and then when she would tell them they could just have it for FREE. (Thanks Grandma for all of the free stuff, we will be bringing it over to your next garage sale! Just kidding!) Our 4 year old tried to tell Grandma that he owed her money when she graciously gave him a FREE item. He’s too cute!
Of course, I have enclosed pictures of the boys playing on Grandma’s farm. Her cat had kittens with the bluest little eyes! The baby just loved them!
Not only did they play with the kittens, but they chased the chickens out of the barn and all over the yard as well! Poor chickens!
When we got home it didn’t take long for the boys to settle down and start getting tired. After a nice bath and bedtime snack they were all tucked into bed and were out almost immediately. (Except of course the baby! He could go all night long!)
More to come on raising my 4 sons!
