(Since I haven’t shared a lot of photos lately I thought I would share this one with you all. I took this of my 4 year old the other day. He’s so silly!)
Shhhhh….What’s that sound I hear? Oh wait, there is no sound! It’s so quiet I at my house at this moment I could probably hear a pin drop. All I hear is the faint humming sound of the electric fireplace off in the distance. Ahhh how I enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many times I can say that my house is this quiet. Actually, it’s been a VERY long time. I know you are probably all quite jealous right now, but I deserve it! 🙂
My 4 year old is at school, as are his older brothers, and the little one is asleep on the couch. Oh how I love getting back into a routine! Especially when that routine includes peace and quiet! I miss you Oh quiet time! 🙂
As my 4 year old is getting ready for school this morning he says to me…
4 year old: Mommy, can I wear my favorite pants to school today?
Me: Which pants are your favorite? You show me and we’ll see.
4 year old: (Goes upstairs and comes back downstairs with a pair of plaid SHORTS!) These are my favorite pants Mommy!
Me: Well don’t you think it’s a little cold outside for those? There is snow on the ground. I think your legs would get really cold.
4 year old: No Mommy, I’ll just pull my socks up.
Me: Maybe another day. I have a really nice pair already laying out for you.
He let it go at that. Thank goodness because I really did not want to send him to school in shorts and socks pulled up to his knees! Kids are so funny sometimes!
