I have been testing out a lot of different baby carriers lately. I knew with my last son that I really wanted to use a baby carrier. I had tried one with one of my other boys and really loved it, however I didn’t use it as much as I would have liked and eventually I got rid of it. When I was pregnant with my 5th I decided that a baby carrier was a must. I wanted to keep my baby close to me, but also I was going to need my hands to be free so that I could take care of the other 4 boys as well. I was on a mission to find the best baby carrier for us, but when I first started emailing companies about baby carriers I found it very hard to get a carrier for review.
After months of trying to find a baby carrier I heard from ERGObaby Carriers. They were happy to supply me with a baby carrier, and I was very happy to be receiving one of their carriers. I have always heard great things about Ergo and I wanted to put their carrier to the test myself. (I must say that we have now received and tried about 4 different baby carriers- more reviews coming soon, so we definitely had something to compare to.)
What did I think of the ERGObaby Carrier?
I LOVE it!
The first time I used my ERGObaby Carrier I was not confused at all. Some of the other carriers I have tried I have found very confusing and I was always unsure if I had it on right, not the ERGObaby carrier!
We first used this carrier at church one day. My little guy likes to get cranky about halfway through the service. I try to rock him in my arms and walk around the back of the church with him, however he can sometimes be hard to coax to sleep while in church. When I brought my carrier I put him in it right away. Every time he started to get cranky I would stand up in the back of church and rock him a bit. He loved being so close to me and fell fast asleep in no time!
My only complaint is that we were quite hot in the carrier, however it was pretty warm outside and this is to be expected.
Would I recommend this to a friend?
