Can you believe we live in Ohio and we had yet to visit Cedar Point? If I’m going to be honest, the reason we had not been to this attraction thus far is because we really did not think it was a place that our whole family would have a good time at. We figured the younger children would be bored, and since we have so many younger children, we stayed away.

That all changed though…
We were invited to visit Cedar Point for a blogger event. It was going to be free and sounded fun (they even fed us—Thanks, feeding my 5 boys is NOT cheap!) What we experienced while at Cedar Point was far beyond our expectations! Our entire family had the time of their lives! We had the best day of bonding, and our boys are still talking about it weeks later! There was so much to see and do that we were almost afraid to leave at the end of the day in fear that we may have missed something!
Cedar Point
For those of you that don’t know much about Cedar Point I would love to give you a little more insight. Cedar Point is located in Sandusky, OH right on the shore of Lake Erie. It is absolutely beautiful out on the beach! Not only does everyone in and around Ohio know about Cedar Point, but so do others throughout the entire world! As a matter of fact, Cedar Point was rated the #1 amusement park on the planet! That’s HUGE! But that’s not all, it’s also the second oldest amusement park in North America.
It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, Cedar Point is definitely a destination that you should visit at least once in your lifetime. I can just about guarantee that once you have, you’ll be back.
My family has added Cedar Point to our “Must Visit” attractions list, and that’s big for us!

when I was in college a bunch of us drove down from Ontario to go there one summer, we camped and visited the park through the day. It was fun!

So glad you had a fantastic time at Cedar Point! It’s only 45 minutes from me so we spend many summer days there and it’s one of our favorite day & weekend activities. So much to do and so much fun!!

Oh, I remember going to Cedar Point once as a child when we lived in Ohio! I would love to go back as an adult!

Live in Michigan, but only 2.5 hrs from Cedar Point. My husband, myself and our 2 teenage boys make it a tradition to go the last Friday in August, Michigan schools are not back in session yet, but Ohio ones are, so the lines are SHORT!
My 8th grader is going next week for their class trip! He is so excited, gets to go twice this year!

We LOVE Cedar Point! Our favorite time to go is in the middle of the week in the evenings to avoid the crowds!
