Since we have 5 little curious boys we figured what better place to take them then to a museum full of FUN and Learning, so we went to COSI (Center of Science Industry) in Columbus, OH. My boys always want to know how everything works and why things are the way they are. At COSI the answers are right in front of you! Not only is it a total cheat sheet for Mom and Dad, but I found that I actually learned a ton too!
COSI is fun for all ages! As a matter of fact, we met a couple from my husband’s work there. They do not have any children, but had a blast with us exploring the museum.
One of my favorite things about COSI is the fact that it is such a Hands-On environment. Not only do my boys love discovering new things, but they love touching things (sometimes even things that they are not supposed to touch!) At COSI it’s okay to touch things and see how they work–it’s encouraged!
One of our favorite parts of COSI is a section where you are walking down streets that look like you are in different eras. It is funny to see the boys reactions to how things used to be. One thing that I thought was extremely funny was the reaction of my boys when they say a phone booth. Seriously, am I THAT old!? Even funnier is that there was a line of kids waiting to get into and check out the phone booth (and my boys were amongst those kids)!
The best part about taking a trip to a place like COSI is the bonding that we do as a family. I love watching my boys interact and enjoy each others’ time. It’s great getting out of the house for a couple of hours for some educational fun!
We will definitely be visiting COSI again in the future and highly recommend you check it out if you are ever in Columbus, OH!
(Disclaimer: COSI supplied us with free passes to facilitate this review. We only give honest opinions and really did have a great time during our trip–as if the photos didn’t show it. 😉 )
