We are so over the snow and are ready to welcome Spring! I can’t believe it’s March already, but I’m happy to start packing up the snow boots and pulling out something a little more fun and comfortable. Since I have 5 boys, we have a lot of sneakers in our house! My boys aren’t the only ones that enjoy wearing sneakers though, I do too! How else am I going to keep up with these rowdy boys?
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that shoes matter. I know that sounds a little petty, but from my experience working in a school as well as simply being a mother of 5, I have learned that your child’s shoes really can affect their self confidence. I’m not saying you need to go out and buy your kids the most expensive pair of shoes you can find, but what I am saying is that we need to make sure our children are comfortable. If he/she is wearing shoes that are too big or too small, or they have holes and tears in them it really can affect their self esteem. That is why we have always made an effort to make sure we check our children’s shoes often to make sure they were still fitting properly.
When our 6 year old heard that he was going to be reviewing a pair of the new Reebok ZigTech Big & Fast running shoes he did a happy dance! (I’m not joking one bit–he danced a little jig right here in our living room!)
When these awesome blue shoes arrived (he chose the blue himself—that’s important to us as well, letting them help choose their shoes because we want to make sure they are going to like the shoes that will be gracing their feet for the next few months), anyway, when the shoes arrived he did another happy dance, but this time, he RACED through the house! That’s right, he had to see just how fast these shoes could make him run, and let me tell ya, he’s super fast now that he has his new blue running shoes!
I love that the Reebok ZigTech Big & Fast running shoes please my son, but I also love that they seem to be made pretty well, and they are very appealing to look at. I also like the cost! I was very impressed to see that we could purchase these shoes at FinishLine.com for under $60 (for the Preschool sizes)! Anytime I can get high quality shoes for less than $60 I get a little excited! Let’s face it, kids grow out of their shoes so fast, and if you are like me and you have 5 (or more) to buy for then you certainly don’t want to spend an arm and a leg! That doesn’t mean we don’t want high quality shoes though—nope, we want the quality without the outrageous price tag, and that is exactly what Reebok is offering!

Wow these Reebok Zig Tech shoes are cool, I love how Reebok has so many different types and style of shoes and they are still with in my budget, so we can get some for the grandchildren at start of school year and special occasions I also think it is great that these shoes are available at the Finish Line
