Believe it or not, I am on the ball this year!
I actually have all of my nieces and nephews Christmas gifts purchased and I have started to purchase gifts for my children as well.
Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
I am curious as to what some of you like to purchase as gifts for Christmas. Do you make lists and hand them to people for yourself and/or your children? How do you shop for others? Do you just wing it, or do you ask them what they would like?

There are many people on my list that are very hard to buy for. Since I’m no longer a teenager (let’s face it, I’m getting Older…) I sometimes have a hard time finding a great gift for the teens on my list. It’s not just the teens though, what do you purchase for your 90 year old Grandmother? I mean, she has almost everything she wants, right? What about your father in law and your mother in law? They are always pretty hard for me to buy for too.
The last couple of years I have started to purchase gift cards. I like to get creative and purchase cute little bags or fun envelopes or gift boxes to put them in. Sometimes I even throw them in with a box of candy or some socks (weird, right? Not when your mother in law LOVES socks!) You can always find fun ways to give a gift card. But what if you don’t know what stores the person shops at, or where the best place is to purchase a gift card for them? (Like your 90 year old Grandmother.) This is where Green Dot Credit Card is a nice option. What are they? They are an issuer of prepaid Master and Visa cards in the United States. Why not purchase a card that can be used just about anywhere? I actually love receiving prepaid credit cards because it gives me so many options. I can purchase something online often times getting myself a much better deal than I would in the stores, or I can shop at one of my favorite little local shops as well.
So, if you aren’t sure what to get for your 90 year old grandma, or even the teen on your list, why not consider a gift card or prepaid credit card?
