Allergies can really take a toll on kids, making them tired, run down, and cranky. As Moms, our #1 priority is to make them feel better. But where do we go when we want to seek support and share experiences about our children suffering from allergies? One place we go to is other Moms. That’s why the makers of Children’s Claritin have created a group of Mom ambassadors, known as the Children’s Claritin Mom Crew.

However, this great brand recognized that while they provide a great solution, Moms still have questions about the issues they face when it comes to their child’s allergies. We’ve spent a lot of time speaking to Moms of allergy sufferers to find out where they turn for education, information and support in dealing with their child’s allergies. What we learned is that there was an online void in a peer-to-peer community where Moms can visit and share information with each other. With the help of our Moms (after all, Moms do know best) the makers of Children’s Claritin helped to fill this void by creating an interactive community for Moms of allergy sufferers. The existing members of our Children’s Claritin Mom Crew have done such a great job that we want to continue the circle of knowledge, sharing and ideas by expanding our group!

We are currently evaluating Moms interested in joining the Children’s Claritin Mom Crew. This exclusive crew “meets” in an online community created for Moms of allergy sufferers. We are looking for Moms who are passionate about sharing information and experiences with other Moms of children with allergies. When Moms are empowered with valuable information to help their families, they like to share and that is exactly what we’d like to continue:

Children’s Claritin Mom Crew members will receive exclusive benefits throughout the year such as:

• Electronic assets, such as blog buttons and branded twibbons
• Exclusive Event Kits, including:
  • The opportunity to hold an in-home health-focused meet-up this Spring
  • A fun and engaging program for Back-to-School
• The opportunity to gain exposure via Mom Talk Radio, the only nationally syndicated radio show for Moms
• The chance to share your thoughts with the Claritin brand directly
• The ability to contribute to materials that will educate other moms and families
• Invitations to both online and offline events

Since we face the challenges of allergies every season, we’ll be engaging Children’s Claritin Mom Crew members year round, with many more online and offline opportunities!

Although there will be some time requirements involved for contributing to the community, we want to make sure this is a fun and valuable experience for all participants! Children’s Claritin Mom Crew Members will be asked to:

• Actively participate in discussions in an online forum
• Host offline events with friends and peers
• Report feedback via regular online surveys
• Disclose they are a member of the Children’s Claritin Mom Crew
