I am a huge coffee drinker, however I worry about the effects it may be having on my teeth. I have noticed that my teeth are not near as white as they were a couple of years ago before I started drinking coffee on a regular basis. Since it has been a problem for me, I have started to look for inexpensive ways to whiten my teeth. With a house full of boys to feed I can’t afford to spend a whole lot on teeth whitening tools and products.
I started with Colgate Optic White products. Now this isn’t the first time I have purchased whitening toothpastes, so I do have something to compare these to. Below are my honest opinions on the products that I tried. Please know that these are only my opinions and your opinions may vary.
Optic White Mouthwash:
This is a new product that was recently added to the Colgate Optic White Regimen. The rinse contains Hydrogen Peroxide to help whiten teeth and protect against future stains while killing bad breath germs as well.
My opinion–I didn’t love the taste, however since I only had to swish it around in my mouth for a bit and spit, it isn’t that bad.
Colgate Optic White Toothpaste:
This product also has Hydrogen Peroxide to help whiten teeth in as little as one week. My teeth felt clean and my breath felt fresh after using this toothpaste. While I didn’t notice a huge difference in the coloring of my teeth, I did notice a small change.
Colgate 360 Optic White Manual Toothbrush:
I LOVE this toothbrush. This brush helps whiten teeth by removing surface stains with rubber whitening cups that hold toothpaste in place and polishing bristles that help to effectively remove surface stains and clean hard to reach areas. There is also a cheek and tongue cleaner that removes odor causing bacteria. I will be buying this brush again.
