Are you trying to live a healthier lifestyle? Do you know what is in the cooking oil that you are using to cook your foods? That is something that I wanted to take a moment to talk about today as I really had no idea what was in the cooking oil that I had been using to cook my family’s meals. (I do now though!)
It wasn’t until recently when I received a bottle of Malaysian Palm Oil that I really started to think about my cooking oil and what it was made of.
What is Malaysian Palm oil?
Malaysia is the world’s second largest producer of palm oil. Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil is a common ingredient in many healthy foods, including better-for-you nutrition bars and heart-healthy spreads. Palm oil is non-GMO and naturally free of trans-fatty acids, making it a natural trans-fat substitute! It acts as a healthy replacement for partially hydrogenated oils. Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil comes in golden and red varieties. Red palm oil is loaded with carotenoids and potent phytonutrients also found in squash, carrots, oranges and apricots.
With that being said, Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil is a healthy replacement for partially hydrogenated oil because it is trans fat free and rich in nutrients. This is why my family will be switching our oil going forward. I want what is best for my family and our health.
Because palm oil is non-GMO, it is ideal for high-temperature cooking.
Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil comes from the fruit of the oil palm tree, which can only grow near the equator.
We love eating popcorn together as a family, especially on movie night! We have found that Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil is perfect for popping popcorn! That’s not all though, I have started to use Malaysian Palm Oil for all of my cooking needs! It is a great product and my family really enjoys it! Malaysian Palm Oil is ideal for cooking.
