I LOVE chocolate, so I was thrilled to hear that we were going to review a sample package of Cowgirl Chocolates!
I was very impressed with the packaging of the chocolates. When I opened the package I felt like I had received a nice little gift. It even had a bow tied around the box!
My 21 month old grabbed the first piece of candy and popped it in his mouth. I should have tested them all out before letting him get ahold of them because while he seemed fine with it for a minute after only another second he was popping it out of his mouth and throwing it on the floor! I’m not saying the candy didn’t taste good, b/c I actually ate the other half of the piece of candy that he hadn’t put in his mouth. (I had to see why my child was cringing, right?) I actually thought the candy was quite good, but after having it in my mouth for a minute it did get spicy. I can see why my little guy threw it across the room. It wasn’t to hot for me, but I’m sure to a little one it probably was.
All of the chocolates were quite yummy, however we didn’t really care for the habanero caramel. Each of my older boys were brave enough to try a little bite of it, which was quite funny to watch!
I would definitely purchase some of the not-so-spicy chocolates again! The chocolate was of very good quality and tasted great!
