My sister’s husband had a death in the family. She wasn’t sure who was going to watch her darling (completely spoiled ornery) little boy. I begged told her I would happily watch her monster angel. Now I’m not like most Moms, I actually welcome other people’s children. That’s right, I feel the more the merrier! My children love having extra children here as well. It doesn’t matter the age of the other children, we are all entertained no matter how old or young they are. So my nephew arrived earlier today. My sister totally thought he was going to cry when she walked out the door. He did not. As a matter of fact, he hardly wanted to give her a goodbye kiss because he was already too busy playing and acting crazy…that is what a house full of boys does you know.
So all night long my boys have been entertaining their 2 year old little cousin. It’s been great fun and I do believe he will be wanting to pack his bags to come visit his aunty and fun cousins again soon! 🙂

It sure is amazing how a child who might otherwise cry when mom leaves can be easily distracted by other children. 😉 That’s great that you could keep him for a while, so his parents could concentrate on family and he could have lots of fun away from the stress of what his parents were dealing with. Looks like he had lots of fun!
