We My hubby FINALLY made it to the grocery store! Yay! I was tired of coming up with some crazy meals that the kids would just look at me and say, “Mom, what is this you are making us eat today?” Being that I’m pregnant and all I really was having fun experimenting with the different things left in our cabinets. However, I don’t think my family has quite the same cravings as I do. They are happy to have a larger selection of food in the house now.
We sit down before doing the grocery shopping and make a list of all of our meals. I used to just wing it and go to the store and buy whatever I felt like while I was there. I was spending way to much money that way though. So now we sit down and do a little meal planning. I have a hard time getting everyone to tell me what they want to eat for the week though. They are getting better about giving me ideas other than mac n cheese and hot dogs.
Do you sit down and plan all of your meals for the week out before you grocery shop?
For those of you that have asked or have never heard of Webkinz I thought I would let you all in on this super fun little virtual world for kids and their parents.
I didn’t know what Webkinz were a couple of years ago either. I wasn’t sure if it was something I wanted my children doing because I’m a little skeptical about all of the virtual worlds and so forth out there. I always have to try them out before I will allow my children to do so. With Webkinz you purchase a cute stuffed animal and it comes with a code. You log on at Webkinz.com and enter your code and you are able to play with your Webkinz online for a year. After a year I do believe that the code expires and you have to purchase another one of you want to continue to enjoy all of the fun games! There are games, but there is so much more. You can feed and take care of your pet. You purchase food and clothes and stuff for your pet’s home by earning Kinz cash, in which you earn from doing things like playing games. The kids are always asking me to go online and play a few games for them so they have cash to feed their pets and buy them new stuff for their rooms. WARNING: It is very addicting for parents children.
