We have a really hard time keeping glasses for our 9 year old son. Boys are just really rough on things. I’m sure those of you that have little boys are sitting there shaking your heads agreeing with me. I’m just glad I only have one son in eyeglasses right now! My husband and I wear them as well, so we have to buy glasses at least a couple of times a year.
It’s that time of the year again. My husband is due for an eye exam as well as my 9 year old son. I’m thinking I should probably take my 6 and 4 year old in to have their eyes checked as well just to be sure their vision hasn’t changed any in the last year. Prescription eyeglasses are not cheap though! I hate to purchase them at the eye doctor anymore. I can’t see paying $200 plus on a pair of glasses when I can get them online for so much cheaper, so I’m on a mission. A mission to find some cheaper eyeglasses.
I’m pretty picky about frames too. My husband has had his same frames for the last couple of years. I really think he is due for a new style. They aren’t a bad frame. Just a wire frame, and sort of plain looking. My 9 year old, on the other hand, has some really cute frames. We get compliments all of the time about how cool his eyeglasses are. So, I’m on a mission to find my hubby some glasses similar to the ones my son is currently wearing, only in an adult size. I think it would be pretty cute if they had similar glasses since everyone is always saying how they look so much alike.
