We had a nice relaxing weekend. Oh how I love to just sit back and relax with my family. I didn’t manage to get near as much accomplished as I had hoped, but that’s ok because I got to relax and have fun with my boys! ๐
We sold one of our vehicles over the weekend (Yay!) so Saturday morning I had to run to the bank to get things taken care of with that. I was only gone for about an hour, but when I returned home hubby and the boys had cleaned the house! What sweeties they are! I had the best Sweetest Day! ๐
The younger boys and I finger painted on Saturday. The older boys were outside playing with their friends and didn’t want to come in when I told them we were going to be painting. They are getting to big for their Momma and her silly crafts. We had a lot of fun though. It was a huge mess, but cleaned up super easy, and when we were done painting I ran bath water and put a little food coloring in so the boys could take a fun bath. They love when we do this! I know they make tablets and so forth that you can add to your bath water, but this is a really cheap and easy way to get the same effect. Oh, and none of these pics were posed to hide their faces (believe it or not) they just sort of did this and I snapped pics. ๐
Also, we had a little fun with our little doggy, Miley. Here is a pic of her in a pair of the boys’ sunglasses. Isn’t she cool? ๐ (Nevermind all of the fingerprints on them, they are children’s glasses, remember?)
Last night the boys and I watched the New Hannah Montana movie as well as the movie 17 Again. They were both pretty cute movies, and the boys really enjoyed them. I love to snuggle up on the couch next to the boys with a bowl of popcorn and a good movie! Oh, but I can’t leave out the cookies we had made just before the movie. They aren’t homemade, but we still had a lot of fun baking them and even more fun eating them! ๐
I tell you the boys can be so silly at times. Our 4 year old asked Daddy if he could stand on his head, so of course Daddy stood on his head because he had to prove to him that he could indeed do it. Daddy’s can do everything, right? At least that is what little boys think, and Daddy didn’t want to disappoint. Luckily he was able to do it. However, when our 4 year old tried to copy Daddy and stand on his head he couldn’t quite stay up. It was so cute watching him try! I did manage to get a pic of him while on his head for a brief moment. Enjoy! ๐
Well that is our weekend in a nutshell. More to come on Raising My 4 Sons…
