People are always asking me how I can possibly handle being a stay at home mom to 5 young boys. I am always telling them that it really isn’t so bad and that I don’t really know any different. This week was an exception…our 15 month old has really kept me on my toes and it’s a good thing I am no longer sick because I had a hard enough time keeping up with him! Here are all of the messes that I cleaned up (and this was just a couple of days apart!)
Go ahead and laugh, you know you want to! (And yes, I did pause to take a photo before cleaning up the mess. A little mess is nothing to get mad about, at least no one was hurt, right?) ๐
1st mess: Tortilla chips. (3 year old brother was kind enough to get them out for him while Mommy paid bills.)
2nd Mess: Cookies. (As soon as I finished cleaning up the tortilla chips-I was literally in the other room getting the mop ready when our 3 year old came walking into the kitchen yelling, Uh-Oh, he made another Mess Mom! Oh, and there were actually about 2 dozen cookies, the pic does not show the whole mess!)
It doesn’t stop there…
Almost a full box of Cheerios! |
Almost a full bag of Doritos! |
And today Daddy left Doritos on the table. I think this was one of the biggest messes because that fake cheese that we all love so much was smashed down into the crevices of the hardwood. This messy cleanup took quite some time!
It’s all good though because we start them while they are young…
I hope that you all have a much better weekend than what my week has been.
Actually, my week wasn’t so bad. I am sure others have been dealt much worse, and the way I look at it is, while I may have a little less hair at the end of some days, I have my boys and they sure do know how to make me smile! ๐
