Entertaining With ALDI…

I like to get the most bang for my buck no matter what I am shopping for. Feeding a family of 7 is not always an easy task when you are on a budget, and that is why I have to price compare and shop around for the best deals. One store I can always count on when looking for less expensive foods is ALDI. This is why I was excited about this ALDI campaign. 

We were sent a $50 gift certificate to be used at ALDI. We were also given a shopping list. With our list in hand and all 5 boys with me, we set out on our mission.

I normally don’t care to take all 5 boys to the grocery with my by myself, however my husband had to work late this night and I really needed to get my shopping done. The boys were big helpers though! We had a great experience at our local ALDI supermarket. When looking for the items on my list, my boys were easily able to spot the items and help me to fill my cart. 

I had no idea ALDI sold wine until this campaign. I was very impressed with the selection as well. We chose a nice Red Wine. I honestly thought it was not going to be very good since it was inexpensive, however I thought it tasted great. To go along with our wine we have mini chocolate eclair pastries, a cheesecake sampler, a candy cane pie (this was for the boys), crackers, several kinds of cheeses, olives, pickles and many other items. All of the snacks and desserts were super yummy and everything went over wonderful at our Christmas gathering.

Entertaining during the holidays can be quite expensive. I find that I can purchase gifts early, but it’s hard to purchase a lot of the foods I am going to need too far in advance. I like to shop discount stores such as ALDI when looking for a good deal. I was so impressed that I could purchased everything I needed for our Christmas get together right there are my local ALDI! Not only did I save money, but this saved me time.
