Fairies Visiting Blogs? #FairyHobmother

You read that title right! Have you heard of him? He goes by “Fairy Hobmother” however his true name is Matthew Mitchell. If you ask me, what he does is pretty interesting and to be honest, I think it’s genius. Instead of coming to blogs like most PR or business owners do with a boring press release asking for exposure on sites he has come up with this great “pitch”.

Here is how it works…

You are contacted by the “Fairy Hobmother” and asked to post a little something on your site about this fairy and what he does. Once you post  on your site and send the link back to the fairy aka Matt, he will gift you with an Amazon Gift Code. It’s all quite simple and you can really write just about anything you please, as long as you are spreading the word about the “fairy”.

Now I have seen some bloggers complain about the fairy and how he is getting exposure, but my opinion is that he is advertising in his own way and it’s working.
