Some of my favorite summer moments with my children include running around outdoors in the sprinkler, going on vacation in TN and seeing a live bear in the middle of the street (the boys loved it!), visiting with friends and family and not having to rush out to put the kids in bed.
Things are so much more relaxed in the summer.
I love campfires and roasting marshmallows and making smores…yummy!
Most importantly, I love the quality time I get to spend with everyone.
Kids grow up WAY to fast. I feel as parents we tend to rush things a lot.
We are always running from here to there and rushing through life.
I like that in the summer we get to slow down a bit. We may still be running around and rushing some of the time, but we also get a chance to sit back and relax and enjoy one another.
