Freddie the Dog (book) Review & GIVEAWAY!!! (WINNER: Addison K.A.T!)

We received the children’s book, Freddie the Dog by Lisa and Randy Herman for review.

My boys love to read and have books read to them.

This was a very easy to read book. Our first grader enjoyed reading it to his 2 year old brother, while the 2 year old sat through the whole book asking a million questions about Freddi the dog and why he is doing the things he is doing. (Even our 2 year old knew some of those things were wrong. Darn naughty bone Freddi has!)

My 5 year old was very interested in the book and asked me to read it to him again when we finished it the first time. He though Freddi was a silly dog and shouldn’t get into so much. He thought it was funny that Freddi had a teeny tiny naughty bone that sometimes caused her to get into trouble.

When we finished reading the book for the 3rd time, my 2 and 5 year olds sat down together with the book discussing what took place and told the story over again to one another.

I would have to say that this book was a hit in our house!
