Are you looking for some fun activities to keep your kids busy this summer? Maybe you don’t want to stay indoors all day and you’d like to get the kids out, but you don’t want to spend a ton of money. That’s okay because you don’t have to!
We have compiled a list of FREE Summer Activities that you can do with the kids.
- Visit the Park. Sometimes visiting parks in neighboring towns can be fun as well. It’s a great way to change things up.
- Go on a Rock Hunt. Look for unique rocks, flint and fossils. Also, painting rocks and hiding them and then looking for other painted rocks at the local parks has become a popular activity in many towns.
- Play Outside Yard Games.
- Go For a Bike Ride.
- Take a Nature Walk/Hike.
- Camp in the Back Yard.
- Visit the Beach or a Local Pond.
- Have a Picnic.
- Go Fishing.
- Visit a Local Splash Pad.
- Visit the Lirbrary.
- Kids Bowl Free. Many Bowling Alleys will offer this. You can see if there is a bowling alley close to you that offers it by visiting: Kids Bowl Free.
- Scavenger Hunt. Make a scavenger hunt for the kids. This is a fun activity that could take up a whole afternoon.
