1.) Have you started your Christmas shopping? Yes, Yes, Yes!!! I am actually (hopefully) just about finished with my Christmas shopping! I feel really good about that too! 🙂 Although I still need to go through everything and have a feeling I am going to have to run out and pick some more things up. But, I am at least doing ok for now. 🙂
2.) Tell me about one of your special traditions. We make cookies and leave milk and cookies out for santa every year. We also do a fun gift exchange at my Mom’s house every year where we wrap presents over and over in layers of paper and then we pass them around and open a layer and the last one to open the layer on the gift gets the gift. (Hope that makes sense.) It’s a ton of fun and makes things more interesting. 🙂
3.) When do you put up your Tree? Sometime right after Thanksgiving. We actually just put ours up on Monday.
4.) Are you a Black Friday shopper? Yes! I love going out on Black Friday. Crazy! I know!
5.) Do you Travel at Christmas or Stay home? We stay home. The furthest we have to travel is 30 minutes.
6.) What is your funniest Christmas memory? Hmmm…My hubby proposed to me on Christmas which was a little funny b/c he had me going on this whole scavenger hunt. It was pretty silly, but so worth it!
7.) What is your favorite Christmas Movie of All time? I can’t really say I have a favorite. I love watching Christmas movies with the boys though!
8.)Do you do your own Christmas Baking, what’s your favorite treat? Yes, I love to make goodies for Christmas! I am the one to always bring the pies to all of the gatherings! I love making cookies and other fun candy treats as well!
9.) Fake or Real Tree? We have a couple of fake trees. It is less mess and we don’t have to worry about buying a new one every year as well as disposal. However, real are very very nice. 🙂
10.) What day (as a Mom) does the actual panic set in to get it all done? Wow, I don’t know. I mean, I’m already feeling a little pressure to get it all done. I would say the week of Christmas is probably the worst though.
11.) Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve? Probably! I haven’t even started wrapping and find it hard to get this done b/c I have to hide the presents in the attic on the 3rd floor. So, if I do the wrapping when the kids are in bed on the 2nd floor they may get nosey. Plus the attic is COLD!
12.) What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas? My favorite is watching the kids eyes when they open their presents. Especially when they get something that they really really wanted!
13.) What Christmas craft do you like the best? I like to make the rings that you rip one off each day until Christmas. It’s like the Christmas countdown.
14.) Christmas music. Yes or No, and if yes What is your favorite song? Love Christmas music! It really gets you in the holiday spirit.We love the Alvin and the Chipmunks Cd..ha ha! It just suits us at our house! 🙂
15.) When do you plan to finish all your shopping? Hopefully soon!
