We love having fun with our foods and really enjoy spending time together in the kitchen (the boys and I, that is). We had a lot of fun trying to come up with a creative Halloween recipe. Now we are ready for a Halloween party!  This is what my boys came up with.

Butterfinger Crunch Brownies with Tombstones

Nestle Brownies1

Ingredients:

Box of Brownies (also, be sure to purchase ingredients to make the boxed mix—oil, eggs…)

Mini Butterfinger Bars

Mini Nestle Crunch Bars

Small amount of chocolate frosting

Directions:

Make Brownies according to package. Once brownies are out of the oven and have cooled, apply a thin layer of chocolate frosting. Crunch Butterfinger bars (about 10 of them) in a bowl. Spread Butterfinger crumbs over brownies. Place a Nestle Bar flat on the brownies, press down a little so they will stay in place. Open a mini Butterfinger and place at the back of the Nestle crunch bar, press down a little so it will stay in place. Toothpick ghosts are optional and were purchased at the Dollar store.

Enjoy!

We had a whole Halloween themed meal with our favorite Halloween treats. We enjoyed the Halloween Tombstone Pizza, Butterfinger Crunch Tombstone brownies, Frankenstein finger breadsticks and Nerds–because everybody loves Nerds!

Very creative idea’s. I enjoy it when our younger boys want to help in the kitchen. With scouts over each week, these boys can get pretty creative. I am really behind this year with our youngest grandson, I will just be making a chili dinner with cupcakes for the family.
