Kid friendly foods

We survived our first week of school and everyone was super impressed with their lunches (and snacks) we prepared every day!

We thought we would share in case you are like me and are always scrambling to come up with new kid lunch ideas.

Monday

lunch6Corndog Muffins and fruit.

Interested in our corndog muffin recipe? You can find it HERE.

TUESDAY

lunch4PB&J Roll Ups, Cucumbers and Watermelon.

To make PB&J Roll Ups simply lay tortilla shells flat, spread PB&J, place banana in center and roll! That’s it!

Wednesday

lunch3Egg Salad Sandwich & Fruit

Thursday

lunch2Sub sandwiches (Pepperoni, Turkey, Ham & Cheese), Yogurt & String Cheese

Friday

Leftover dayLeftover day! We turned leftover meatloaf into sloppy joe sandwiches and had fruits and veggies.

What are some kid friendly lunches you like to serve?

Thank you for posting this, even though we homeschool I am still finding it a challenge figuring out what to make for lunch. If I make these ahead of time for the week we can just pull them out and eat them.

Shaunte-I’ve been meal planning over the weekend. I find it so much easier when I cook everything Sunday evening (most everything) and get all lunches prepared. It’s working out great so far and I feel so much less stressed! Hope that helps! ๐Ÿ™‚

Love seeing your ideas, it inspired me to get out my lunch box kit and get Jake “fun lunches” again! And meatloaf into sloppy joes? Why on earth have I never thought of that! Thanks for sharing!

I have got to do the PB&J rollups, such a neat idea! I am sure the kids would love it.
