WonderWorks is an upside down house. Seeing the attraction from the road gets you intrigued and you just want to see what is inside! My boys love this attraction and they enjoy visiting it every trip we make to Pigeon Forge, TN!
About the upside down house, WonderWorks :
As legend has it, the worldβs greatest scientists β led by Professor Wonder β were given the task of creating a man-made tornado and harnessing its power.
During this experiment, something went awry, and the power of the tornado was unleashed inside the laboratory. This created a swirling vortex that was strong enough to rip the laboratory from its foundation.
It was carried thousands of miles away and landed upside-down β¦ the rest, as they say, is history.
WonderWorks is one of the top things to do in Pigeon Forge! This indoor amusement park is over 35,000 square feet of educational fun! It’s like an amusement park for the mind (don’t worry, there are also activities that will make you work physically as well, such as the indoor rope challenge—a favorite for our family!) When education and entertainment are combined it’s a WIN! There are over 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark your imagination.
We love to explore the upside down house! Trying out all of the fun experiments and reading about the different stations is great!
When you walk in you will notice that ceiling is actually ground and the ground is the ceiling! You start by passing through the inversion tunnel to realign yourself and start your adventure!
There are 6 Wonder Zones for you to enjoy with your family…
Our favorite parts of WonderWorks…
Climb through obstacles three stories above the ground in the glow-in-the-dark Indoor Ropes Course, and compete against opponents in a fast-paced Laser-Tag battle in a black-lit maze!
If you are in the Pigeon Forge area, we highly recommend you visit WonderWorks!
Wonderworks is a great place to take the kids. We’ve been there a couple of times, and it’s so much fun. The kids love to be able to explore and learn in a hands on way.
Agreed! I keep telling my husband we need to take a vacation during the school year so we can make it part of our homeschool lessons—-Vacation Field Trip! π

The inversion tunnel looks pretty cool. All those black light glow in the dark activities look like they’d be really fun for children and teens.
The tunnel makes it feel like you are going to fall, however it’s not the bridge that’s moving! It’s really neat!
