We love whipping things up in the kitchen, and my boys love the aftermath of whatever fun creation we are making! Today we decided to make Mint “Shamrock” Shakes! I have no idea how these are typically made, but when we were out and about this week one of the boys mentioned we get Mint Ice Cream and Mint Oreos, so we started there. I’ll post the recipe below in case anyone is interested.
INGREDIENTS:
2-3 Scoops Mint Ice Cream
2-3 Mint Oreos
1/3 C Milk (You can use less depending on your desired consistency)
Lucky Charms Cereal (Optional)—used for the marshmallows
Cool Whip (Optional)
Green Icing in a tube (Optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Place 2-3 scoops of ice cream in the blender along with 1/3 C milk.
Crush 2-3 Oreos
Place crushed Oreos into blender with ice cream.
Blend until smooth. (If the consistency is too runny, add more ice cream).
Pour into glass. Top with cool whip, lucky charm marshmallows and a little green icing.
It’s not much and is super simple, but my boys sure were happy today when we whipped this one up!
Enjoy!

Love this recipe! Did you know there is a little store in Berne that you can buy a bag of the marshmallows? I mean really, who eats that for the cereal? It’s all about the marshmallows ๐
