I will never forget the morning I was awakened by a ton of little Styrofoam bullets. I was sleeping soundly in my bed (this was many many years ago). We had a new baby and my husband decided that he would let me sleep in a bit, so he got up with the older boys and they all ate breakfast and plotted their evil little plan. I should’ve known at that moment what was coming, but somehow (probably due to my deliriousness from hardly sleeping the night befure due to being up all night with a new baby), I was confused. And then I started getting pelleted in the face, and every other portion of my body. That was the moment that I knew we were at war, and I was the target!
I laugh every time I tell the story. My boys have always been little tricksters, and they have always loved to play with NERF guns.
