When we had our last child we didn’t find out the sex ahead of time. Everyone thought we were crazy, but we were looking forward to that last big surprise. Of course, the day we had him the suspense was killing us, as well as everyone else. Deep down I knew I was having a boy, but that didn’t stop me from going out and shopping for a little girl outfit.
After my son was born I was sort of upset I spent so much time looking for a girl outfit, not to mention the money I had spent on it. Luckily a family member had a baby girl shortly after and I was able to gift the outfit to her. I would have been pretty sad had that outfit just sat in a closet for years.
While many parents aren’t keen on putting their baby in green or yellow, or some other gender neutral colors for their newborn photos, this is what we tend to do when the sex of the baby is unknown. You don’t have to go through what I went through, and you can still be prepared and have your baby looking as cute as ever for their first photos that you/they will cherish forever.
That’s right, Twotara offers gender neutral clothing in the form of a line of reversible baby clothing and accessories that are PINK on one side and BLUE on the other. It’s like you get two outfits for the price of one! Not only are these perfect for parents who haven’t found out the sex of their baby, but they are also great for that “just-in-case” moment. We know several people who were not prepared when they arrived to the hospital because they were told they were having one sex and they actually had the other. As a matter of fact, when we were pregnant with our second son they couldn’t tell the sex at our 20 week ultra sound, but they thought “maybe” he was a boy. Our doctor decided to take a peek at 7 months and she told us she was pretty sure he was a girl. Needless to say, I had a lot of clothing to return when we brought our beautiful baby BOY home. I would have loved to have saved my time and money and had a Twotara, gender neutral outfit on hand.
Not only are Twotara outfits cute, but they are so soft! Every outfit is made of 100% interlocking knit cotton, so they are always soft on your newborn’s skin.
This would make the perfect baby shower gift!
I just wish I would have known about them years ago.

I think it is a great idea to have gender neutral clothing for newborns!
