A while back I spoke about how I am now working at the Christian School my children are attending. When I started there were some supplies that we were in great need of. One of those supplies happened to be pencil sharpeners. You see, we had gone through many pencil sharpeners (cheap and expensive) and none of them seemed to hold up.

My son can NEVER find his pencil sharpener and his school does not allow electric pencils. I htink I’ll look into one of these for his classroom!

I wish we had these when I was in school. Ours were SO loud that we couldn’t use them while the teachers were lecturing because it was distracting and I would so often come to last at the last second so by the time that I unpacked my bag and realized that my pencil needed sharpened, the teacher was already talking so i’d miss out on being able to take down notes until there was a break.
Pencil Sharpeners that will last are a hot property at the school I teach at. I will have to look for one for my classroom.

I dislike the little plastic ones so much, I never seem to get a sharp enough edge without it cracking. I haven’t seen a sharpener like the one above since high school (many years ago).
