How do you sleep at night?
If you aren’t sleeping like a baby (why do we reference that term when everyone knows babies wake all night long?), anyway, if you aren’t getting a good night’s sleep you might consider trying a new pillow. Most people don’t know why they toss and turn at night, but according to WebMD, nighttime pain is one of the top reasons for disturbed sleep. Some people don’t even have pain severe enough to wake them up, but any level of pain can cause sleep disturbance because it reduces the amount of time spent in the deep REM stages of sleep.
Let’s get to the pillow talk (not the kind that might have popped into your head when you first read that!)…
The Proper Pillow combines comfort, corrective, and rejuvenating therapeutic properties, optimizing neck and spinal alignment and eliminating tireless nights. The low density orthotic mold shapes to each sleeper with the ideal amount of support, and the low density foam allows your body to perfectly fit the pillow as it maintains its supportive shape.
Dr. Rick Loos, a chiropractor in San Diego designed and created the Proper Pillow to reduce back pain, neck pain and headaches caused by improper sleeping positions.
Now I know that this pillow was designed for the neck, however I have found it to be a great “between the leg” pillow. Please tell me I’m not the only one who still insists on sleeping with a pillow between the legs even when not pregnant. I find that it gives me more support for my back and spine, and I sleep a whole lot better when I have this pillow between my knees. Don’t believe me…try it for yourself!
