We received the 3D Magic Pen™ for review purposes. All opinions expressed are our own.

3D Magic Pen

I don’t always start a blog post off by saying this, but I’m about to tell you about our favorite new toy! We received  a 3D Magic Pen™. When we first started playing around with it we didn’t really realize how awesome it was. It wasn’t until we had a little practice that we fell in love with this new toy! And when I say WE, I mean every single member of my family! We have all been playing with it for the past month!

3D Magic Pen Ring

Check out this fun video we made with our 3D Magic Pen™

About the 3D Magic Pen™

The 3D Magic Pen™ comes with three color filaments. Packs of fifteen color filaments or individual color rolls are available for purchase separately.

With so many filament color options, building and creating possibilities are endless – doodles and dinosaurs, towers, dragons and trolls – there is no limit to what can be built.

The 3D Magic Pen™ is currently available for purchase with manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $99

through HamiltonBuhl’s educational dealer network or at www.HamiltonBuhl.com. Additional filaments are available in packs of 15 different vibrant colors and retail for $29.95.

The 3D Magic Pen™ was designed to stimulate creative thinking and help master problem-solving. It is easy to use, simply plug it in and watch the screen for optimal temperature and then press for action.

3D Magic Pen

The 3D Magic Pen™ Key features include:

  • Comfort grip design
  • Self-feeding motor
  • Ceramic nozzle for safe use
  • Speed adjusting dial
  • Vibrant filament colors
  • Non-toxic, quick cooling and hardening filaments

The 3D Magic Pen™ would make a great gift for children and adults! We think it’s great for creative minds and is a much better option than sitting in front of screens all day long. We have incorporated the 3D Magic Pen™ into our homeschool Art class!

What a great way to be creative. You can draw or you can sculpt OR you can use one of those bad boys.
