I have a house full of boys, so I definitely know when there are new electronics on the market. While doing my research this year I have learned a lot about some of the products that are at the top of everyone’s Christmas Wish Lists. Below are a few that my we think are great holiday gift ideas, and not just for the kids, but for the whole family.
I’m sure you all have heard of the Xbox One. It’s the latest and greatest Xbox on the market and many people want to get their hands on it!
The Xbox One was built by gamers for gamers. They have exclusive game titles such as Halo and Sunset Overdrive and blockbusters such as Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty (which I’m sure most of you have heard of) and they have some pretty popular sports franchises such as Madden 15, FIFA 15 and NBA 2K15. There are also some top family titles like Fantasia: Music Evolved, Just Dance 15 and Skylanders (which is on every little boy’s wish list!) The Xbox One is said to take gaming to a whole new level.
The Xbox One gaming console enables access to the latest TV shows and movies through apps. With Xbox One all of your media is right there at your fingertips anytime you need it.
The JBL Charge 2 has a Bluetooth Social Mode that allows up to 3 different users to take their turns playing their own playlists on a single speaker. Pretty impressive, right? We thought so! There are twin passive radiators for deep bass and a massive 600mAh battery with a hands-free conference speakerphone, this really is an awesome product!
The JBL Flip 2 is a wireless portable stereo speaker that offers dual performance-tuned JBL drivers and a built-in bass port. The SoundClear ehco and noise cancellation combined with the state-of the art microphone system to pick up calls on the speaker really do make this product top notch!
Let’s not forget about the JBL Reflect Earbud Headphones. They are sweat proof and have a 5 hour rechargeable battery and a reach of about 40 feet. The best part is the eartips have an ergonomic design and built-in magnets which keep your buds on standby without loose cables.
We mustn’t forget about our GPS devices. I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure what I would do without my GPS. I love the bluetooth feature that allows connectivity for hands-free calling as well as traffic and weather updates. The Lane assist and Lifetime traffic and map updates as well as the Voice Recognition Technology are pretty great features as well.
Garmin 52LM has a 5.0″ display with maps of 49 U.S. states, plus Lifetime map updates, Lane assist with junction view, displays speed limit and accurate arrival time and can easily find addresses and millions of points of interest. One of my favorite features is the Spoken turn-by-turn directions. I really don’t know what we did without our Garmin.
The Garmin 2597LMT is another great option with a 5.0″ display, maps of 49 U.S. states, plus Lifetime map updates, Lane assistant with junction view, displays speed limit and accurate arrival time and allows you to easily find addresses and millions of points of interests as well as spoken turn-by-turn directions.
The TomTom Go 50S is another great option. It offers Lifetime TomTom Traffic so you can drive with TomTom Traffic for the lifetime of your device. It also offers Lifetime Maps (US, Canada and Mexico) and they are always the latest maps. What I thought was really cool was the 3D Maps so you can see buildings and landmarks in stunning 3D. The 5″ touchscreen with advanced lane guidance is super helpful.
