Now, this wasn’t our first visit to the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner show. You can read our previous review HERE. We enjoyed the show so much the last time we visited Pigeon Forge that we had to come back for another show! I do believe that this show will probably be on our MUST-SEE/DO list every time we visit the area!
We sat and watched the Hatfield & McCoy families compete in different (talented) ways while we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat full course meal of Fried Chicken, Open Pit Pulled Pork BBQ, Southern Style Creamy Soup (my absolute favorite!), mashed potatoes, buttery corn on the cob, homemade rolls, coleslaw and a delicious dessert! We left with full bellies and for once not ONE of my boys said they were hungry the REST OF THE NIGHT! (That’s incredible!)
We sat right up next to the stage. They were great seats, but I’ll be honest, there really aren’t any bad seats in the house! Seriously, you get a great view no matter where you sit. When you get there you will either be seated on the Hatfield side or the McCoy side. We can now say that we have been on both sides of the feud! Before the show started I was asked if I would come up on stage and help. Once they informed me that I would not be required to sing or dance (because that would have been bad for everyone that PAID for tickets! ha!) I agreed. The funny part—well, you see that bra in his hands, he appeared to have pulled it from my blouse! The audience participants competed in our own little feud and well…I lost! haha!
My boys are already talking about our next trip to Pigeon Forge and they have Hatfield & McCoy on their lists of places to go!

I love watching shows like this! It is so much fun to see different kinds of shows. I am all for stage performances because I think they’re a lot more interesting than TV or movies. At some point I hope I can get down there and see this.

Dinner shows always make for such a fun family outing! Love how they have guests pick a side and all of the food looks great too.
They do make for a great family outing! Getting to sit on one side and feel like you are a part of that family makes it so much more fun! And yes, the food is delicious! I know it looks good, but it tastes even better than it looks! We were so full when we left the show!

It definitely is! And I kid you not, the pulled pork is SO good! I won’t lie though, the creamy soup is my fav!!!

We took my son to see this show for his birthday a few years ago. We had such a good time. The only thing is I wish they had a few other options for dinner.

I have never been there but it looks like a really fun time. That plate of food though… looks delish.
It was a great time and the food was so good that my kids are asking me to recreate the meal at home! The only problem, I can’t cook that good! haha!

We enjoy dinner shows as well. The first time we went I thought it might be boring, but it’s a great idea to have dinner with the show and this show is great!
It’s been a while since we last watched a performance like that. The dinner show is a stress-reliever for sure.
It certainly is! It’s great to just sit back for a while and think about nothing but the show in front of you. Oh, and the yummy food!
We were in Pigeon Forge last summer and didn’t see this and it looks like we missed a good time!

Funny that you have now been on both sides of the Feud! Good to know your boys left so full they weren’t hungry the rest of the night, that’s definitely saying something because my nephews are always hungry all the time! LOL 🙂
It is funny, right? My boys loved that we were able to cheer for one side the last time we visited and another this time. And yes, the fact that my boys were not hungry later in the evening was definitely a surprise!
We only drove through Pigeon Forge from Gatlinburg on our way to Sevierville before, but I have seen this on TV and I think it’s fun to watch. Would love to go back there and watch this.

Haha! Well….it was technically my bra! I’m pretty sure he pulled it out of his sleeve! haha! It was definitely funny and caught me off guard though!
