With boys comes noise, everyone knows that. When I decided to homeschool my boys I knew there were going to be some obstacles I was going to have to hurdle. I knew the noise was going to be a problem. We brainstormed and the best way to keep our children focused and the noise down was to give each of our children a set of headphones. We went through several sets before we found the ones that would work for us.
The reason we went through so many sets was because some did not give good sound, while others were not adjustable so they were at times too loud. Others simply broke after only a couple of uses and the Kidz Gear headset…well, they are still using it!
Kidz Gear
Kidz Gear Headset Headphones have a Boom Microphone and are ideal for reading, foreign language and phonic lessons. In our case they work nicely when our boys are doing video streaming lessons or when the youngest wants to watch a DVD while the older boys are trying to learn a lesson. They also work great when daddy is away from home and the little ones want to talk to him, or when they want to make a phone call to Grandma!
These headphones are super lightweight so I don’t have to worry about them being too heavy for my 4 year old. They pick up omnidirectional sound and feature the Kidz Gear Control Volume Limit Technology which ensures child safety while listening to their videos or lessons. This is actually one of my favorite features! I know there have been many times that I have had to walk by and turn down my children’s laptops in the past because they were listening to them at very loud volumes. Now, I don’t have to worry about that because it’s built right into the headset.

This is a great idea. My grandkids have started homeschooling and what a great way to help bring their lessons to each of them and not everyone else.
