Heelys Review…

If you are looking for something FUN to buy for Christmas this year, you might want to consider Heelys! What are Heelys?

They are shoes with wheels in the bottom! The wheels are removable, so if there is ever a time that you would like to wear the shoes without the wheels you can. 

What did we think of Heelys? 

My oldest son wears the same size shoes as me, so we were both able to try these fun new shoes out. He wasn’t home when I first tried them, which was probably a good thing because I know he would have laughed and teased me. When I first put the shoes on and tried to skate across the room I fell on my butt! It has been a very long time since I have been on skates and I must admit that I’m not too coordinated. 

With Heelys the wheels are in the back of the shoes only, so you can walk and then simply switch your weight to the back of your shoes and you are skating. It’s really quite simple, that is if you have balance and are not like me. Believe it or not, my 11 year old took right off with these. He thought they were the coolest thing ever and has been skating through the house and down the sidewalks since we got them. I wish I could say I could do the same. I’m still working on it, but I am doing much better than I did the first time I put them on. We have had a lot of laughs and a lot of fun with our Heelys!
