Our boys love hunting eggs at Easter time, so I wasn’t surprised at the excitement when we received the Hide ’em & Hatch ’em eggs for review. Now I have to be honest with you about these eggs, since all of our reviews are honest. Ok, it’s no secret that boys are creative and curious, right? Well, my boys were so curious about what was inside the eggs that they immediately cracked the eggs opened! I really wanted to say that they placed them in the water like they were supposed to and waited for the eggs to hatch, but I would be lying, and that would be inappropriate. Now, we did still get to experience the bunny and chicks inside the eggs growing. Each day my boys have placed their favorite new toys into a cup of water before they go to bed. When they wake in the morning they play with their eggs and then before going to bed at night, they place them back into the water. The cute little animals have grown and our boys were so excited to see the “Easter Magic!”

These pastel colored eggs are so much fun for hiding or filling the Easter basket! I love this little twist to the traditional Easter eggs: simply soak them in water overnight and out will hatch some new friends…a duck, chick or bunny! SO FUN!!!
