My 4 year old just realized his underwear have a hole in them. You know, the one that is in the front of little boys underwear for a reason? Well this is sort of how the conversation went…
4 Year old: Mommy, Mommy!!!! (He’s really excited running to me in just his t-shirt and underwear. He had just finished going potty and decided he didn’t want his jeans back on because he wanted to run around in his pajamas.)
Me: What buddy? What’s the matter?
4 Year old: You know what? My underwear have this little hole right here in them (he’s showing me)
Me: Yes, they sure do. That’s just how they make little boy underwear.
4 Year old: But Mommy I can stick my weenie through the hole, Like this!, and I can pee!
Me: (Speechless for a moment) Let’s not do that though buddy because you might pee on your underwear.
4 Year Old: No Mom I won’t pee on them, I promise (Runs to other room to continue to play like the conversation had never even happened.)
Me: Still Speechless, but secretly laughing at the funny things little boys say and do, and just hoping I don’t walk into a big mess in the bathroom anytime soon!
